Chromatography

Wherever possible our process chemists attempt to avoid chromatography as a purification or isolation technique, by developing more cost efficient and scalable purification techniques involving extractions and/or crystallizations. However, given the increasing complexity of molecules, this is not always feasible. Hovione has consequently expanded its purification technologies to include chromatography to support development from lab to commercial scale.
